WEYAUWEGA, WI – A Milwaukee man is facing a fourth-offense operating while intoxicated charge after a traffic stop Friday afternoon in Waupaca County.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a trooper stopped a 2014 Subaru Impreza on U.S. Highway 10 near County Highway X in Weyauwega after observing an equipment violation and the vehicle following another vehicle too closely.
During the traffic stop, troopers reported detecting signs of impairment and the odor of intoxicants while speaking with the driver.
The driver, identified as 44-year-old Mario L. Koran of Milwaukee, was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated, fourth offense.
The Wisconsin State Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
