BONDUEL, WI – The Bonduel community stepped up in a big way this week, filling a trailer with essential supplies for families recovering from the recent tornadoes that struck the Fox Valley.
The two-day Fill the Trailer donation drive at the Bonduel Laundromat drew a steady stream of community members eager to help, with organizers saying the response exceeded their expectations.
Organizer and Bonduel Laundromat owner Parker Perry said the support was immediate.
“We got here yesterday, and before I even pulled up there were actually cars waiting. I can’t really ask for anything better than that,” Perry said.
Perry said the donations continued throughout the day as residents arrived with bags and boxes of needed supplies.
Drop Off Location
“We were super busy yesterday. Every single person that came brought a couple bags or boxes of stuff. Obviously, the support has been incredible,” he said.
Donations included diapers, bottled water, non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries, soap, toothbrushes, toys and other everyday necessities for families who lost their homes in the storms.

Organizer Jaime Huntington said the generosity shown by the Bonduel area reflects the close-knit nature of the community.
“Honestly, we’re a pretty tight-knit community. If something goes wrong with anybody within our area, we pitch in. Look what we can do, it’s amazing,” Huntington said.
Huntington has been in contact with those coordinating relief efforts in the Fox Valley and says the need for basic supplies remains significant.
“These people lost their homes. Anything that people can provide, that’s what we’re taking to them,” she said. “I talked to them today about the drop-off instructions, and people are living in hotels. They’re not on the streets, but they need everything.”
More Items Inside Trailer
After collecting donations over two days, the trailer was transported Friday morning to Appleton, where relief organizers are distributing the supplies to families impacted by the tornadoes.
Organizers thanked everyone who contributed, saying the overwhelming response demonstrated just how willing the Bonduel community is to come together and help neighbors in need.
