WAUPACA COUNTY, WI – A Waupaca County woman has pleaded not guilty to multiple felony charges connected to the 2020 overdose death of a 22-year-old man whose body has never been recovered.
Thirty-one-year-old Desiree Osman is charged with first-degree reckless homicide, delivery of heroin, and hiding a corpse in connection with the death of Jon Morgan.
According to prosecutors, Osman allegedly provided the heroin that resulted in Morgan’s fatal overdose before disposing of his body. Despite years of searches by investigators, Morgan’s body has not been located.
Osman entered her not guilty plea during a court appearance Wednesday in Waupaca County Circuit Court.
No trial date has been scheduled, and the case remains pending.
