Jason D. Ort, age 43 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Jason Daniel Ort was born on January 5, 1983 in Rhinelander WI to Bradley and Carrie Ort, where he lived in their home in Monico, WI. Then moved to New London where he attended and Graduated from New London High School 2001. After high school, Jason moved to Green Bay, there he met the love of his life Joanna Frazer. They married on July 9, 2005. Their family was completed with both of their daughters Ariana Skye on Sept 28, 2004 & Autumn Raine on August 28 2006. Then love at first sight was his granddaughter Camila Jane on May 31, 2025.
Jason’s childhood was filled with smiles and laughter, a love for fishing that started when he could first hold his little blue rod and reel and continued as one of his passions throughout his adult life.
Jason’s work career started with United Health care in 2010 to the present. His hard work and dedication continued there as he worked his way up in the company.
Jason’s love for the outdoors included bow hunting with his daughters, dad and brothers and learning to use the smoker for his famous pulled pork and BBQ ribs loved by family and friends, but his true life passion was softball, starting as a child and after his daughters were at the age of playing ball, his 12 year coaching career included Chaos fast pitch and continued with Clintonville High School with many successes and accomplishments.
Jason had a great love for his family, a love for animals and many beloved pets. He deeply enjoyed camping, and motel stays with Chaos parents and friends.
Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents Eugene (who had a unique bond with and became a standing joke they were identical) and Janet Osterberg; Ralph and Grace Ort; cousin, Davie Osterberg Jr.; uncles, Mark Ort & Craig Ort.
He is survived by his wife, and love of his life, Joanna Ort; his parents, Bradley & Carrie Ort; daughters, Ariana (Roberto) Ort and Autumn Ort; his granddaughter, Camila Colchado; brothers, Joshua (Jessie) Ort & Bradley (Nikki) Ort; chosen brothers, Dustin, Harvey and Dj; father and mother-in-law, Paul & Candy Frazer; sister-in-law, Linnet & brother-in-law, Paul Jr.; nieces and nephews, Bailey, Riley, Faith, Lily, & Maverick, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Time of Remembrance will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, South Location (299 S. Main St. Clintonville, WI 54929), led by Jason’s family. Interment will take place at 1 PM following the service at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. After which, the family will host food and fellowship back at the funeral home.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of service.
