Eudine Lois (Rihm) Hupke

Eudine L. Hupke, age 90 of Clintonville passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Cottonwood Manor Assisted Living in Green Bay.

Eudine Lois Rihm was born on January 22, 1936 in Marinette as the only child of the late Elmer and Pearl (Alswager) Rihm. The family moved to a farm just south of Clintonville where Eudine graduated from high school in 1954. After high school she began working for the Hanson Glove Factory and then at the Clintonville Hospital as a surgical nurse for a number of years. Eudine was united in marriage to her soul mate William “Bill” Hupke on February 22, 1958 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Clintonville which later merged with the Methodist Church, becoming the United Methodist Church in Clintonville. The couple were always at each other’s side. Eudine was a devoted member of the church, serving with the United Methodist Women and Candlelight Circle. She also helped organize countless funeral luncheons over the years and volunteered her time with church rummage sales. Eudine treasured her friendships throughout the years and looked forward to playing bridge with those closest to her. Her faith and family were the focus of her life. She remained close to her cousins throughout her life and loved hearing stories about her grandchildren and what they were up to in their busy lives. She will be remembered as a loving, patient, and hardworking wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include: Her Sons: John (Sharon) Hupke & William “Bill” Hupke, Jr.
Grandchildren: David (Brittany) Hupke & Alex (Elizabeth) Hupke.
Great-Grandchildren: Wyatt, Elaina, Willa, & Edward.
Sister-in-law: Mary Troudt.
Brother-in-law: Ed Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Pearl Rihm, her husband William “Bill” Hupke in 2025, brother-in-law Donald Troudt, and sisters-in-law Myra Phillips and Kay (Richard) Koeppen.

Eudine’s funeral service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 11am at the United Methodist Church in Clintonville with Deacon Deb Vendenboom officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville followed by a meal back at the church. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9am until the time of service. Eudine’s family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers at Cottonwood Manor for everything they did for her during her stay.
