TOWN OF PENSAUKEE, WI – A 64-year-old Oconto man has died following an ATV crash Sunday evening in the Town of Pensaukee, according to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency dispatchers received a report of the crash at approximately 5:59 p.m. on Oak Orchard Road. Deputies and emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene.
When first responders arrived, they found the ATV operator unresponsive alongside the roadway. Lifesaving measures were performed at the scene before the man was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicates the ATV was traveling eastbound on Oak Orchard Road when it entered the south ditch and overturned.
Authorities have not released the victim’s name, and no additional information is being made available at this time as the investigation continues.
