Pedestrian Killed in Oconto County Crash

TOWN OF LITTLE RIVER, WI- An 86-year-old Oconto woman died Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in the Town of Little River. Deputies and emergency responders were dispatched at approximately 2:06 p.m. to the 7000 block of Hillcrest Road for a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash. When first responders arrived, they found the woman unresponsive alongside the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary investigation indicates the woman was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Hillcrest Road. The vehicle was driven by a 75-year-old woman from Oconto. The crash remains under investigation
