Lots of Smiles, Fewer Bites
Area law enforcement took about two dozen kids fishing on Thursday. The annual Cops N Bobbers event allows for kids to team up with an officer or deputy to do some fishing and enjoy a lunch.
Members of the Wisconsin DNR also took kids out for a boat ride as part of the event.
Many sponsor the event to make it possible.
Kids all left with a new fishing pole and tackle box.
