
Robert (Bob) Leon Sliwinski, 89 of Clintonville passed away peacefully at his home Thursday morning July 23, 2026.
Bob the son of the late Leopold and Marion (Isadore) was born on December 12, 1936 in Milwaukee. There he attended Pulaski High School and later met his late wife Ramona (Jaworski). Together they raised four children and built a life together in Franklin.
After he lost Ramona in 1991 he attended a grief support group where he met the next love of his life Renate Fitzgerald. They were immediately smitten with each other and shared 35 wonderful years together.
Bob worked as a Parts Manager at several automotive dealerships. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking, painting, drawing, creative writing, fishing and restoring his father’s 1953 Ford Truck. In addition to that he was a jack of all trades & loved to banter with anyone he met.
He is survived by his wife Renate, his children Sandi (Don) Martin, Carol (Brian) Yeazel, Robert (Denise Rentz) and Monica Sliwinski. Grandchildren: Marie Martin, Jackie (Adam) Holly, Stephen (Kayla) Steffes, Hope (Connor) Molnar. Siblings: Gloria Krueger, Patricia Haag and David Sliwinski. Dear Friends: Marla and Gary Steinke and Becky and Mark Fulgerberg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory South Location 299 S. Main St., Clintonville WI 54929. Service conducted by Bob’s family will begin at 10:00 am. There will be a luncheon after the service with the Interment to follow at Graceland Cemetery located directly across the street. Bob’s family would also like to thank the wonderful nurses with ThedaCare at Home Hospice for all they did for him during his illness.
