NORTHEAST WISCONSIN – Several Northeast Wisconsin football standouts are gaining statewide recognition ahead of the 2026 season after being featured in the latest Bound Wisconsin Class of 2027 Linebacker Rankings.
Leading the area is De Pere’s Cayden Cavanaugh, who checks in at No. 2 in the state. Cavanaugh put together an outstanding junior campaign, totaling 112 tackles and three interceptions while emerging as one of Wisconsin’s top defensive prospects. His performance has also attracted multiple NCAA Division II scholarship offers.
Coleman’s Bryce Seefeldt also earned a spot among the state’s best, landing at No. 14 in the rankings. Seefeldt recorded 91 tackles last season and continued to boost his recruiting profile with a strong showing at the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Combine.
Two additional Northeast Wisconsin players received recognition as rising prospects on Bound Wisconsin’s “Others to Watch” list.
Fox Valley Lutheran’s Braden Heiges was recognized after continuing to develop into one of the area’s top young linebackers, while Suring’s Kroix Kempka also earned a spot on the watch list as he heads into his junior season.
