NORTHEAST WISCONSIN – Two Northeast Wisconsin football players have been recognized among the state’s top edge defenders in the latest Bound Wisconsin Class of 2027 Player Rankings.
Bay Port’s Jordy Walker was ranked 14th in Wisconsin after an outstanding junior season that showcased his versatility on defense. Walker earned unanimous First Team All-Conference honors after recording 47 tackles, five pass breakups, and making an impact at multiple positions, including overhang defender, slot defender and deep safety. His ability to diagnose plays quickly and cover the field has also helped him earn three Division III scholarship offers.
Just one spot behind Walker is Appleton North’s Cole Hank, who checks in at No. 15 in the statewide rankings.
Hank earned First Team All-Fox Valley Association honors after totaling 34 tackles, including 17 solo stops, while patrolling the Lightning defense as an outside linebacker. He also excelled in pass coverage, finishing the season with six interceptions, making him one of the state’s top playmakers at the position.
