SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano community came together in a remarkable show of support Friday, raising more than $20,000 for the family of 5-year-old Charlotte Johnson, who passed away earlier this month.
The fundraiser, hosted by Bullfrogs and Butterflies Childcare Center, featured a community cookout, raffle, bounce house, and family-friendly activities. Dozens of local businesses, organizations, and volunteers donated their time and resources to make the event a success.
Charlotte passed away on July 1 after being pulled from a pond at Shawano Mini Golf. Funeral services were held on July 8.
