BONDUEL, WI – The championship matchup is set for the 47th Annual Bonduel Broncos Invitational Baseball Tournament after an exciting final night of pool play Wednesday at Jack Reinke Field.
The host Bonduel Broncos secured their spot in the title game with a 12-4 victory over the Cecil Mudhens in Pool A. With the win, the Broncos finished pool play 2-0, earning the Pool A championship and remaining unbeaten in the tournament.
Pool B featured a three-way tie after the Navarino Rangers, Hofa Park Panthers, and Shawano Lobos all finished with 1-1 records.
Tournament officials used the tiebreaker of fewest runs allowed, with Navarino surrendering just five runs during pool play to claim the Pool B championship and a berth in the title game.
That sets up a championship showdown between the Bonduel Broncos and the Navarino Rangers on Friday at 7 p.m. at Jack Reinke Field.
The championship game will be a full nine-inning contest, with the popular Bronco Bucks Inning Raffle taking place throughout the evening.
