Clintonville Police logged a steady stream of calls throughout Wednesday, July 1st. Officers conducted several early‑morning business checks across the city, including stops on Commercial Avenue, South Main Street, 9th Street, Beacon Avenue, and Paulina Street.
Around 8 a.m., police assisted with school extra patrol on West Green Tree Road, followed by traffic control on Sunset Drive. Late morning brought a fraud complaint on Summer Street.
Throughout the afternoon, officers made multiple traffic stops across town — from South Main and Camelia Avenue to Hemlock and 10th, West Madison and West Street, and Fly Inn Road.
Emergency crews responded to ambulance calls on Park Lane, West Green Tree Road, and Robert Street.
Two ordinance violations were reported — one on South Main and another on Flora Way — along with an elder abuse complaint on West Green Tree Road.

Late morning brought a bail‑jumping complaint in Leopolis. The caller said her ex, who was not supposed to contact her, was having friends reach out on his behalf.
Deputies also handled multiple vehicle lockouts, disabled vehicles along Highway 29, and a criminal damage complaint on Butternut Road where a mailbox was smashed — the second time it had happened.
In the afternoon, a welfare check in Bonduel involved a woman “wandering into the road,” possibly under the influence, and reportedly trying to get hit by a vehicle.

Around 4 a.m., officers checked out a suspicious vehicle parked at the Shawano Fire Department. According to the report, the caller said a man near a red car was “acting strange” and later found “slumped over” on the trunk.
A 5 a.m. 911 call came from Evergreen Care Center, followed by a welfare check at Lakeshore Lanes where a woman was seen wandering the parking lot, lying in the grass, and pouring liquid onto the ground.
Later in the morning, officers handled a civil matter involving a tenant locked out after a keypad was changed, and assisted EMS on Stevens Street and at the Shawano Post Office.
Multiple 911 calls came from Shawano High School, including one reporting an overheated elevator and another plotting to the school with distant voices heard.
Afternoon calls included a dog‑bite report, a man in a wheelchair sitting in the roadway, and a disorderly conduct complaint where a landlord allegedly pushed a tenant and ripped out an air conditioner.
Evening brought welfare checks, noise complaints at Smalley Park, and a large response to a death investigation on East Green Bay Street.
