NEW LONDON, WI – New London native Jonah Stone is spending his summer traveling the state as a member of the acclaimed Kids From Wisconsin performing troupe, bringing music, dance, and entertainment to communities across Wisconsin.
A graduate of New London High School, Stone is now a sophomore at Princeton University, where he is majoring in computer science while pursuing minors in dance and mathematics.
Stone was selected to perform as both a singer and dancer with Kids From Wisconsin, one of the state’s premier youth performing arts organizations. The troupe presents a Broadway-style production each summer while also providing free music education workshops in underserved communities across Wisconsin.
The 2026 tour makes a stop at Franklin Park on Thursday before returning Stone to his hometown for a performance in New London on Wednesday, July 8.
Beyond the stage, Stone remains heavily involved in the performing arts at Princeton. He performs with the university’s Footnotes a cappella group, serves on the boards of Princeton’s musical theater and film production organizations, and is active within the university’s dance department. This fall, he will also begin work as a research assistant in Princeton’s Music Cognition Laboratory.
Stone’s recent stage credits include portraying David in Company, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Stone says he is thankful for the encouragement he has received throughout his journey.
He credits his family and music teachers for their unwavering support and says he is honored to represent his hometown while sharing his passion for music, dance, and the performing arts with audiences across Wisconsin.
Kids From Wisconsin’s mission is to empower young performers through professional-caliber performance opportunities while inspiring future generations through music education and outreach programs in communities throughout the state.
