BONDUEL, WI- Twenty kittens believed to be about eight weeks old are safe after being found abandoned along a roadside ditch near Bonduel.
The kittens were rescued and taken to a local animal shelter, where they are reported to be healthy, alert and adjusting well. Four of the kittens have already found homes, but many are still available for adoption.
Shelter staff are encouraging anyone considering adding a pet to their family to stop by and meet the kittens.
The shelter is also accepting donations to help care for the unexpected arrival of so many animals. Needed items include cat food, litter, toys and monetary contributions.
Staff thanked the community for its continued support in helping give the kittens a safe and loving future.
