WISCONSIN DELLS, WI – Several athletes and coaches from northeast and central Wisconsin will be showcased later this month when the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association hosts its annual All-Star Games at JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. The event will feature many of the state’s top graduating seniors while also raising money for charitable organizations across Wisconsin.
BAY PORT
Among the local highlights is Bay Port standout AJ Ivy, who was selected to the Division 1 Royal Team. Ivy will compete alongside many of the state’s top large-school players in the showcase event, representing a Bay Port program that continues to be one of the premier programs in northeastern Wisconsin.
NEW LONDON
New London will also be represented on the boys side as Joseph Daly was selected to the Division 2 White Team. Daly earned the honor following a strong senior season and will have the opportunity to compete against some of Wisconsin’s top Division 2 talent.
LITTLE CHUTE, WRIGHTSTOWN AND XAVIER
The Division 3 game will have a strong Fox Valley flavor. Little Chute head coach Jake VanRoy was selected to lead the Division 3 Royal Team, while Wrightstown’s Cory Haese will serve as an assistant coach. Xavier standout Kyler Bleck was also chosen to compete in the Division 3 All-Star Game, giving the Hawks another representative on the statewide stage. Amherst’s Colton Vander Laan was named to the Division 3 White Team roster as well.
TIGERTON AND MARION
Several area schools will be represented through coaching selections. Tigerton head coach Dan Hoffa will lead the Division 5 Royal Team, joined by assistant coaches Dave Roe of Marion and Tyler Weller of Tigerton. Tigerton senior Sam Anheuser will also suit up for the Division 5 Royal Team, giving the Tigers both a player and coaching presence at the event.
