MILWAUKEE, WI – Four champions were crowned Saturday at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee on Saturday.
DIVISION 1
#1 Divine Savior Holy Angels 3, #3 Muskego 1
After a scoreless first half, Reese Roethe broke the deadlock with an unassisted goal early in the second half before Muskego’s Taylor Collins tied the match at 1-1 with just over 20 minutes remaining. The Dashers responded immediately, however, as Mary Stith scored just 14 seconds after the ensuing kickoff to regain the lead. Sarah Mcelherne added an insurance goal later in the half as DSHA outshot Muskego 19-8 and held an 11-3 advantage in shots on goal.
This was DSHA’s 1st State Title since 2021.
DIVISION 2
#1 Brookfield Central 5, #2 Wauwatosa East 0
Charlotte Vaughn opened the scoring midway through the first half before Stella Wien and Kara Delisle helped the Lancers build a 3-0 halftime lead. Alexandra Rossi added two second-half goals to put the match out of reach. Brookfield Central controlled play throughout, outshooting the Red Raiders 14-4 and holding an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal.
This was Brookfield Central’s 2nd straight soccer title.
DIVISION 3
#1 McFarland 2, #2 Kiel 0
Bergen Westrum put the Spartans on the board midway through the first half, and Allison Charbonneau added an insurance goal early in the second half off a cross. McFarland controlled the action throughout, outshooting the Raiders 15-5 and holding a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal. Charbonneau led the Spartans with seven shots, while goalkeeper Jaylah Moore recorded three saves in the shutout.
This was McFarland’s 1st state title since 2021.
DIVISION 4
#2 The Prairie School 5, #1 Xavier 0
Meghan Gavigan scored twice in the first half as The Prairie School built a 3-0 lead by halftime, while Constanza Reyes Belaunzaran added a goal and three assists in a dominant performance. Keira Kimbrough and Belaunzaran each scored in the second half to complete the scoring. The Prairie School controlled play throughout, holding a 12-6 edge in shots and a 9-6 advantage in shots on goal.
This was The Prairie School’s 1st state title since 2019.
