OCONTO AND OUTAGAMIE COUNTIES, WI – Families will have two opportunities to celebrate Wisconsin agriculture this weekend as Breakfast on the Farm events return to both Oconto and Outagamie counties on Sunday.
In Oconto County, the annual Breakfast on the Farm will be hosted by Riewe Farms, located at 6947 Old 15 Road near Oconto. The day will begin with Mass at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast service from 7 a.m. to noon. Family activities will continue through 1 p.m.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the farm, learn about modern dairy farming, and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities while connecting with local agriculture.
Meanwhile, Outagamie County’s Breakfast on the Farm will take place at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour. Gates open at 7:30 a.m., with breakfast being served from 8 a.m. until noon.
Guests attending the Seymour event can enjoy a farm-fresh breakfast featuring pancakes, a ham, egg and cheese scramble, slices of ham, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, cheese curds and Culver’s ice cream. New this year, pizza and grilled cheese sandwiches will also be available.
The event will also feature a large children’s area with games, bounce houses, a pedal pull, wagon rides, live animal displays, and Touch-a-Tractor exhibits. Educational displays from veterinarians, cattle nutritionists, honey producers, master gardeners and other agricultural professionals will provide visitors with a closer look at the many industries that support Wisconsin agriculture.
Both events offer free admission and free parking, giving residents and visitors an opportunity to learn more about the state’s agricultural heritage while enjoying a day on the farm.
Organizers say Breakfast on the Farm remains one of Wisconsin’s most popular agricultural outreach events, helping connect consumers with local farmers and showcasing the important role agriculture plays in communities throughout the state.
