SHAWANO, WI – Families looking for a fun evening activity can head to downtown Shawano tonight as the Naberhood Block Party returns with another free community event.
The weekly summer series will begin at 6 p.m. at 214 South Main Street and feature a Weird Science and Bubble Show as this week’s main attraction. The interactive performance is expected to offer hands-on entertainment and activities for children and families.
The Naberhood Block Party has become a popular summertime gathering in downtown Shawano, bringing residents together for free family-friendly programming each Tuesday evening.
The event series is sponsored by Shawano Country Tourism and the City of Shawano and is designed to encourage community engagement while providing unique entertainment throughout the summer months.
Organizers say a different featured activity will be offered each week, giving families a variety of reasons to return throughout the season.
Residents planning to attend are encouraged to monitor the Shawano Park and Recreation Facebook page for any weather-related updates, schedule changes or cancellations.
