Later in the morning, police and EMS were sent to South Lafayette and West Stevens for a car crash with injuries, with multiple units arriving between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m..
Officers also checked on a vehicle parked for several days at Sturgeon Park, noting a guitar, amplifier and food inside. The registered owner said she didn’t know why the vehicle was there.

In the afternoon, Probation and Parole requested assistance picking up two individuals, and deputies handled a vehicle lockout and a stray cat call at ThedaCare in Tigerton.
Evening calls included a trespassing complaint on Highland Drive, a reckless driving report involving a maroon Cadillac Escalade, and several disabled vehicles across the county.
Around 6:30 p.m., a Clintonville resident reported a man threatening him over junk cars, saying the suspect had made similar calls in the past.
Later, deputies investigated harassment at a Cecil trailer park and a theft complaint from North Star Casino, where a patron reported losing a $500 ticket.
The night ended with two deer‑related crashes and a property‑damage accident on Cypress Road, where a driver swerved to avoid a deer and struck a tree.
