Bonduel rallied with three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Sturgeon Bay 4-3 in a WIAA Regional playoff game Tuesday. The Bears trailed 2-1 before their late comeback, then held off a seventh-inning push by the Clippers. Joe Felhofer led Bonduel offensively with two doubles, while Brooks Hartlaben added three total bases and earned the win in relief. The Bears finished with seven hits and advance to the Regional Final with the victory.

Auburndale 4, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 1
Wittenberg-Birnamwood saw its season come to an end Tuesday with a 4-1 loss to Auburndale in a WIAA Regional Final matchup. The Chargers took a 1-0 lead in the third inning, but Auburndale broke through with three runs in the fifth and added another in the sixth to pull away. Wittenberg-Birnamwood finished with six hits, led by Zandyr Barke, who recorded three total bases, while Carson Meverden, Connor Meverden, and Oliver Fraaza also contributed hits. Connor Meverden turned in a strong start on the mound, allowing just three hits over five innings.

Crivitz used a five-run fourth inning to power past Oconto 5-3 in a WIAA Division 3 Regional Semifinal on Tuesday. The Wolverines broke a scoreless tie with their big rally and then held off a late Oconto comeback attempt to advance. Jackson Schramm dominated on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while allowing three runs on eight hits. Colton Arpke paced the offense with two hits, while JJ Brand delivered a key two-RBI triple during the decisive fourth inning. Crivitz finished with eight hits and played error-free defense in the postseason victory.

Hortonville rolled into the next round of the WIAA Division 1 playoffs with a dominant 13-1 victory over Green Bay East in five innings Tuesday. The Polar Bears scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back, adding three more in the second and two runs each in the third and fourth. Brock Wolter led the offensive attack with two doubles, a triple, and seven total bases, while Isaac Behnke added a triple and three total bases. Hortonville also put pressure on the bases, with Jack Tennie stealing five bases and Behnke swiping two. Mason Burrichter and Braylon Brantner combined to allow just one hit while striking out Green Bay East hitters throughout the regional semifinal win.

Seymour rallied from an early deficit to defeat Fox Valley Lutheran 3-1 in a WIAA Division 2 Regional Semifinal on Tuesday. After the Foxes scored in the first inning, the Thunder tied the game in the fourth before pushing across two runs in the sixth to secure the victory. Carson Staffeldt paced Seymour’s offense with three hits, including a triple, while Caden Steffens drove in two runs. Brayden Banker turned in a complete-game performance on the mound, allowing just one run on six hits over seven innings. Seymour finished with 10 hits and advanced to the regional final with the hard-fought win.

Winneconne exploded for 10 runs in the first two innings and cruised past Ripon 12-2 in a WIAA Division 2 Regional Semifinal on Tuesday. The Wolves scored twice in the first inning and added eight more in the second to take complete control of the game. Ethan Duel drove in four runs and doubled, while Broderick Stille collected two hits and scored twice. On the mound, Lucky Pahl struck out seven over four innings as Winneconne limited Ripon to just four hits. The Wolves advance after piling up 12 runs on eight hits and reaching base at a .655 clip.
