Shawano Police handled a busy Monday with a mix of disturbances, welfare checks, traffic issues, and animal complaints across the city.
The day began around 6:40 a.m. with officers responding to a disturbance on South Lincoln Street, where multiple units were called to the scene. Minutes later, another disturbance was reported on West 2nd Street involving a man banging on a door.
Just before 10 a.m., officers were sent to South Washington Street for a welfare check after reports of a man yelling in the street and telling someone to run him over.
Late morning brought a minor vehicle crash near Lincoln and Green Bay Street, with both cars pulling into the Walgreens lot.
Around midday, police assisted with a standby call on South Sawyer Street, followed by a fraud complaint where a resident reported stolen debit card information.
In the afternoon, officers handled property damage after a driver struck a parked car and left a note, a vehicle lockout at Walmart, and a harassment complaint near Main and Zingler.
Evening calls included a dog bite on South Franklin Street, multiple reckless driving reports on Highway 47‑55 and Highway 29, and a found bicycle on South Main.
The night wrapped with several 911 calls, a pedestrian complaint near Old Lake Road, and an assist to another agency at the Shawano Mini Mart.
Clintonville Police logged a steady mix of patrols, traffic stops, and disturbance calls throughout Monday.
Officers conducted a series of early‑morning business checks, with multiple walk‑throughs along South Main Street and nearby businesses between midnight and 1:30 a.m. A foot patrol was also completed near Main and 12th Street.
Just before 8 a.m., police made a traffic stop on Harriet Street, followed by a business assist on West Madison later in the morning.
Two calls on North 12th Street kept officers busy—first a family-related incident around 9:40 a.m., then a disorderly conduct complaint just before 1 p.m.
In the afternoon, another traffic stop was made at Main and 5th Street.
Around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to a drug-related incident on South Main Street. Later that evening, a warrant pickup was handled on West Madison Street.
Police wrapped up the night with a disorderly conduct call on North Clinton Avenue, followed by a late traffic stop on South Main just after 11 p.m.

A pair of reckless driving complaints came in overnight and again during the afternoon. In one case, a caller reported a tractor swerving across Highway 29, nearly forcing them off the road. Later, a dark van with a smashed front end was seen speeding and passing in no‑passing zones.
Deputies also handled several traffic hazards, many involving deer struck on county highways. In at least two cases, injured deer had to be dispatched.
A property theft was reported late morning on Pathfinder Circle, where a white Gibson guitar was taken sometime within the past month. The complainant named multiple possible suspects.
Several welfare checks were conducted, including one for an elderly woman not heard from in over a week, and another involving a man acting erratically inside a garage.
In Mattoon, deputies assisted firefighters after a 911 call from a residence on 4th Street. Later in the afternoon, EMS was called for a man experiencing chest pain at the courthouse.
Other calls included a scam complaint involving missing returned cell phones, a civil parking dispute at the Pulcifer Pub, and a drug‑related incident at a home on West Alder Street in Tigerton.
Deputies also picked up a subject on a Marathon County warrant and assisted multiple agencies throughout the day.
