Shawano Police handled a steady mix of calls throughout Sunday.
Just after two a.m., officers and EMS responded to a medical call on West Third Street, where crews assisted a resident before clearing the scene around 2:30 a.m.
A short time later, police were called to South Union Street for a harassment complaint. The caller reported neighbors throwing objects at his home. Officers arrived within minutes and cleared the scene around 3 a.m.
Around 3:17 a.m., dispatch received two prank 911 calls from the area of Union and Maurer Streets. Officers located the source and handled the situation.
Later in the morning, police responded to West Richmond Street after a resident reported threatening text messages from a family member, including one stating, “I will… burn you.” Officers investigated the incident.
Throughout the day, officers assisted EMS on several medical calls, including at Franklin Street, Sawyer Street, and Estates Lane.
In the evening, police were dispatched to Charlie’s County Market for a harassment and disorderly conduct complaint, followed by a disturbance at Sharona’s Bar just before midnight. Both incidents were handled without major issues.
Clintonville Police logged a steady series of calls throughout Sunday, beginning with multiple business checks along South Main Street between 2:10 and 2:17 a.m.
Around 3:34 a.m., officers responded to an open door reported on West Street, followed by another open‑door call just after 4 a.m. on Club House Drive.
Midday brought two disorderly conduct complaints at Memorial Circle, reported within minutes of each other around 12:50 p.m.
At 2:01 p.m., officers handled an animal‑related complaint on West 13th Street, and later in the evening responded to a second animal problem on Primrose Circle around 8:20 p.m.
Traffic enforcement remained active throughout the day, with stops on South Main Street at 5:47 p.m., at 5th and South Main just before 8 p.m., and again near South Main and East First Street at 9:05 p.m.
Officers also assisted a citizen on 16th Street around 7:15 p.m.
The day wrapped up with extra patrol requested at Memorial Circle just after 10 p.m.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office handled a wide range of calls Sunday, beginning just after midnight with a suspicious vehicle reported near Camp 14 Road and County A in Bowler. A short time later, deputies responded to Highway 29 for an injured deer in the roadway, later classified as an animal‑sick call.
Around 1:11 a.m., deputies investigated reckless driving on Highway 47–55 after a caller reported a driver who had been “staggering out of the Menominee Casino.” Minutes later, a noise complaint was logged on Opperman Way in Shawano.
Just before 2 a.m., deputies responded to a property‑damage crash on Highway 47 in Bonduel, where one male appeared injured. By 3:39 a.m., a traffic stop near County A resulted in two occupants reportedly trying to avoid deputies by darting into North Star.
Morning calls included multiple traffic hazards involving dead deer blocking lanes, along with several reckless‑driving complaints—one near Eland and another near Tigerton. Deputies also assisted Brown County authorities around 12:20 p.m.
Early afternoon brought a theft report on Oak Avenue in Shawano, where a resident reported both license plates stolen and later used at Illinois toll booths. A disabled vehicle on Highway 29 and a traffic violation in Eland followed.
Just before 3 p.m., deputies were called for “a bunch of loose goats” near Highway 45, with a possible owner identified. Later, a warrant pickup was completed on County M, and deputies assisted with a standby on Lake Drive.
Evening calls included a fire alarm activation in Bonduel, dogs barking for more than two hours on Lake Drive, and another fire‑assist on West Green Bay Street. The night wrapped up with a traffic hazard on Highway 29 near Banner Road, a deer‑related crash, and a traffic offense on Moh He Con Nuck Road.
