A short time later, officers responded to another theft of veteran plaques at the chapel on East Green Bay Street.
Multiple 911 hang‑ups were logged throughout the morning and early afternoon, including calls plotting to South Lincoln Street, Waukechon Street, and the Shawano County Fairgrounds. All were checked and cleared.
Animal‑related calls were frequent, including a giant stray dog reported near Stevens and Union, a dog locked in a vehicle at Walmart, and a barking complaint on South Lafayette Street.
Officers also handled reckless driving complaints on Randall Street and Smalley Street, a scam report involving repeated charges from a flower purchase, and a drug complaint where a caller alleged her brother was selling their late mother’s medication online.
The evening brought a domestic disturbance on East 5th Street and a suspicious call where a woman believed she found a tracking device on her vehicle.
Police also assisted with several medical calls and two vehicle lockouts. All incidents remain under investigation or were resolved on scene.
Clintonville Police handled a steady mix of calls the day began early with traffic stops on South Main at 7th Street and later on Airport Road near County Highway I. Around 7:30, officers responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 45 at Reinke Road.
A fire alarm was reported on West Green Tree Road just after 7:35, followed two hours later by a 911 call from South Main Street.
In the afternoon, officers checked on a suspicious person on West 12th Street, assisted a citizen on South Clinton Avenue, and conducted radar enforcement near East Green Tree Road and Industrial Avenue.
Just after 5 p.m., police handled a vehicle lockout on West Morning Glory Drive, followed minutes later by a report of a vehicle theft on Industrial Avenue.
An ambulance call came in from Anne Street around 6:30, and another traffic stop was made on North Main at West 13th Street just after 8:30.
The evening wrapped up with a suspicious person report on Wilson Street and extra patrol around Memorial Circle shortly before midnight.

Around 6:45, a 911 call traced to Tigerton Lumber Company was investigated and cleared. By mid‑morning, deputies were responding to multiple reckless driving complaints, including one on Highway 29 where a caller reported speeds near 90 miles an hour. Another reckless driver was reported on Porter and Valley Roads.
Animal‑related calls included a loose dog on Hazel Drive and a deer hit and needing dispatch near Haase Road.
Deputies also handled several disabled vehicles along Highway 29, including a stranded Santa Fe and a broken‑down minivan.
A welfare check in Cecil was prompted by reports of adults yelling at a small child on a porch. Another welfare check later in the day involved a confused elderly man at the Ho‑Chunk Casino who had lost his wallet—deputies located it.
Throughout the afternoon, dispatch logged multiple 911 hang‑ups, including one where the caller simply said, “get out.”
Deputies also responded to civil disputes, including neighbors throwing rocks in Bonduel and a trespassing complaint from a man hospitalized in Chicago who said a neighbor parked on his property.
Evening calls included harassment in Gresham, more reckless driving complaints, and a suspicious person report where someone was heard walking near a basement door in Wittenberg.
The night wrapped with a suspicious vehicle slowly circling streets in Gresham and a final 911 call near Haase Road.
