Wittenberg-Birnamwood 14, Shiocton 1 – Game 1
The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers exploded offensively in a 14-1 conference victory over Shiocton in game one of Monday’s doubleheader. Wittenberg-Birnamwood piled up 14 hits, including a huge day from senior Rory Salvesen, who finished 3-for-4 with six RBIs and two triples. Sophomore Megan Fisher and sophomore Kennedy Benbo each collected three hits, while junior Jayda Moenke added two doubles in the win. Junior pitcher Kendall Lex earned the victory in the circle after allowing just one run over five innings with three strikeouts.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 14, Shiocton 6 – Game 2
The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers completed the doubleheader sweep of Shiocton with a 14-6 win in game two Monday night. After trailing 4-2 early, Wittenberg-Birnamwood answered with five runs in the second inning and never looked back while piling up 21 hits offensively. Senior Rory Salvesen led the Chargers with a 4-for-4 performance, while Jayda Moenke homered and drove in two runs and senior Brie Ladika added four RBIs. Sophomore pitcher Arianna Inderdahl earned the win in the circle with eight strikeouts over seven innings as the Chargers improved with another strong conference victory.

Tigerton 3, Northland Lutheran 2
The Tigerton Tigers rallied late to edge Northland Lutheran 3-2 in Monday’s conference softball matchup. Tigerton scored once in the sixth inning before plating the game-winning runs in the seventh to complete the comeback victory. Junior Danika Tiller led the Tigers in the circle with nine strikeouts while allowing just three hits over five innings of work. Hailey Erdmann, Lillian Welch, and Tiller each collected hits for Tigerton, with Erdmann adding a double in the win.

Iola-Scandinavia 21, Menominee Nation 3
The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds used a big offensive performance to defeat Menominee Nation 21-3 in conference softball action Monday. Iola-Scandinavia finished with 17 hits, led by senior Brylee Jueds, who went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, while senior Brooklyn Berrens added a home run and four RBIs. Menominee Nation collected eight hits in the loss, with Shaye Sanapaw and Cecilia Grignow each recording two hits. The Thunderbirds broke the game open with seven runs in the third inning and five more in both the fourth and fifth innings to secure the victory.

Bonduel 5, Manawa 0
The Bonduel High School Bears picked up a strong 5-0 conference softball victory over Manawa High School on Monday. Bonduel broke open a scoreless game with four runs in the fifth inning before adding another insurance run in the seventh. Sophomore pitcher Emery Thompson dominated in the circle for the Bears, tossing a one-hit shutout while striking out 12 batters over seven innings. Maddie Hert led Bonduel offensively with a 3-for-3 performance, while senior Gracyn Wudtke drove in three runs in the win.
