Menominee Indian broke open a close game late Monday, scoring 14 runs over the final two innings to defeat Manawa 19-6. After trailing 4-3 through three innings, Menominee Indian answered with two runs in the fifth before erupting for seven runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. CJ Pyawasay powered the offense with two doubles, a triple, and seven total bases while Craig Penass and Caleb Grignon also had big nights at the plate. Menominee Indian finished with 18 hits and stole eight bases in the win, with August Nahwahquaw and Pyawasay combining for 10 strikeouts on the mound. Manawa was led offensively by doubles from Brody Rosin and Oden Streesonreuther, but the Wolves could not slow down the late offensive surge. Menominee Nation broke a 6 plus game losing streak with the win.

Seymour 5, West De Pere 4
Seymour held off a late rally from West De Pere to earn a 5-4 win Monday in a nonconference matchup. The Thunder built a 3-0 lead through four innings before adding two more runs in the seventh, which proved critical after West De Pere answered with four runs in the top of the final inning. Romy Oskey led Seymour offensively with two hits and an RBI, while Caden Steffens added an RBI and a stolen base. On the mound, Kobe Barth struck out eight over five scoreless innings before Seymour’s pitching staff finished off the victory despite the late pressure. Seymour totaled nine hits in the game and improved to 11-5 on the season with the win.

#17 Crivitz 18, Gillett/Suring 1
No. 17 Crivitz exploded offensively Monday night, rolling past Gillett/Suring 18-1 in five innings to improve to 16-1 on the season. The Wolverines scored seven runs in the opening inning before adding 11 more in the third to take complete control early. Colton Arpke led the offensive surge by going 3-for-5 with four RBI, while Crivitz finished with 15 hits and a .455 team batting average. On the mound, Pierce Polomis dominated in three innings of work, striking out nine batters and allowing no earned runs. Gillett/Suring managed just three hits in the loss as Crivitz extended its winning streak to eight straight games.
