Almond-Bancroft rolled to a dominant 15-0 win over Tri-County in conference softball action Wednesday. The Eagles broke things open with a five-run second inning and followed it with a nine-run third to take full control. Lacie Bradley led the way at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs, while Lexi Carlton added three runs and an RBI. In the circle, Carlton was just as impressive, throwing a no-hitter over four innings with five strikeouts.

#15 Stevens Point 12, Freedom 0
Freedom was shut out 12-0 by Stevens Point in a non-conference softball matchup on Wednesday. The Panthers jumped out early with a nine-run first inning and never looked back, adding three more runs over the next few frames. Freedom managed just three hits in the game, with Brooke Sowinski, Miley Geurts, and Kingsley Klug each recording one. Stevens Point’s Callie Diekhus controlled the game in the circle, allowing no runs while striking out six over five innings.
