One Candidate For Oconto County Fairest

GILLETT, WI- There is just one candidate for the 2026 Fairest of the Fair in Oconto County. Josie Holtz is the lone contender for this year’s honor at the Oconto County Youth Fair. Holtz is a 2025 graduate of Oconto Falls High School and is currently finishing her first year at University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She has been active in a variety of school activities and has exhibited swine and crop projects at the fair for the past nine years. The competition is scheduled for 10 a.m. on May 16 at Gillett High School and is open to the public.
