Freedom 5, Little Chute 2 – Game 1
Freedom opened the doubleheader with a 5-2 home conference win over Little Chute on Friday, using timely offense and a steady pitching performance to pull away after a tight start.
Little Chute struck first with a run in the opening inning and added another in the third, but Freedom responded quickly, scoring twice in the second inning to grab momentum and never fully surrendering it the rest of the way. The Irish tacked on two more runs in the fourth and added an insurance run in the sixth to seal the win.
Maddie Inger led the way in the circle for Freedom, delivering a complete-game effort. She worked seven innings, allowing just two runs on five hits while striking out three and keeping Little Chute from generating a big inning. Her ability to limit damage with runners on base proved crucial in controlling the game.
At the plate, Brooke Sowinski provided one of the key offensive moments, driving in a run and helping set the tone during Freedom’s early rally. Jovie Smith also contributed by reaching base and scoring as part of a balanced Irish lineup that capitalized on walks, hit batters, and situational opportunities.
Freedom 10, Little Chute 0 – Game 2
Freedom completed the doubleheader sweep with a dominant 10-0 victory over Little Chute on Friday night, using a fast start, explosive offense, and lockdown pitching to control the game from the opening inning.
The Irish set the tone immediately, scoring twice in the first inning and continuing to build momentum with two more runs in the second. After adding another in the third, Freedom pulled away with a pair of runs in the fourth and a three-run fifth to enforce the run-rule shutout.
Jessa McArtney was outstanding in the circle for Freedom, throwing five scoreless innings while allowing just two hits and striking out five. She kept Little Chute off balance throughout the game, working efficiently and avoiding any real scoring threats.
Offensively, Freedom delivered one of its strongest performances of the season. Brooke Sowinski led the charge with a big multi-hit effort and multiple RBIs, while K. Moeller provided one of the most productive nights of the lineup, driving in runs and consistently reaching base. Jovie Smith, Addison Murphy, and Josie Geurts also contributed key hits and run production as the Irish lineup rolled through the order.
Freedom improved to 7-4 with the sweep, Little Chute drops to 4-8.

Luxemburg-Casco 11, Clintonville 1 – Game 1
Luxemburg-Casco jumped out fast and never let Clintonville recover, powering to an 11–1 win in Game 1 of the doubleheader on Friday.
The Spartans set the tone immediately with a six-run first inning, putting the Truckers in an early hole they couldn’t climb out of. Clintonville managed to scratch across a run in the fourth, but Luxemburg-Casco kept the pressure on with consistent offense in every frame, adding insurance runs in the second, third, and fourth innings.
At the plate for Clintonville, Payton Johnson, Marley Tauferner, Claire Papendorf, and Caitlyn Prue each contributed hits, with Papendorf driving in the lone RBI for the Truckers. Despite the limited offense, Clintonville did find some success reaching base via walks and scattered singles.
Defensively, Emily Hagman and Payton Johnson both handled their chances cleanly, while Morgan Retzlaff helped turn multiple plays in the field.
On the mound, Papendorf battled through four innings of work, striking out two while facing a steady Luxemburg-Casco lineup that finished with 10 hits and 11 runs.
Luxemburg-Casco 13, Clintonville 0 – Game 2
The Spartans wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for seven runs in the first inning and immediately putting the Truckers on the defensive. From there, Luxemburg-Casco continued to pile on with three runs in the third and three more in the fourth, ending the game early via run-rule style control.
Clintonville struggled to generate offense, finishing with just four hits on the day. The Truckers’ best offensive performances came from Claire Papendorf, who collected two hits, along with Morgan Retzlaff and Caitlyn Prue, who each added a hit. Despite getting on base a few times, Clintonville was unable to bring runners home against a sharp Luxemburg-Casco pitching staff.
In the circle, Emily Hagman started the game and worked two innings, while Payton Johnson followed in relief, combining to face a steady Spartans lineup that finished with 10 hits and 13 runs.
Luxemburg-Casco improved to 6-1 with the doubleheader sweep. Clintonville drops to 2-10.
