On the boys side, Hortonville controlled the sprint and middle-distance events. Walt Pitzner led the way with a win in the 200 meters (23.47), while Cade Mansfield was a standout distance runner, winning both the 400 (51.97) and 800 meters (2:02.64). The Polar Bears also showed depth with a 1-2 finish in the 400 and several top-three finishes in the distance races. In relays, Hortonville captured titles in the 4×200 and 4×400, showcasing their team speed and depth, while also placing second in the 4×100. Field event highlights included runner-up finishes from Keagan Wilkinson (high jump) and Abram Daniels (high jump and triple jump).
For the girls, Hortonville also impressed with both individual and relay success. Jayla Rades took second in the 100 meters and helped power the winning 4×100 relay team. Distance standout Ellie Young claimed the 1600-meter title and added a second-place finish in the 800, while Hailey Falbo won the 3200 and placed second in the 1600 to lead a dominant distance group. The Polar Bears added a runner-up finish in the 4×200 relay and strong placements across sprint and field events, including a discus win from Abby Van Ornum and a pole vault title from Alena Lewis.

@ Oconto Falls

The Panthers made an early statement in the sprints, as senior Gracie Miller sprinted to a runner-up finish in the 100 meters (12.95), just missing first in a tight finish. Teammate Emery Pagel also reached the finals and placed ninth. In the 200 meters, Rylie Shallow led Oconto Falls with a fourth-place finish (27.58), while Brooke Fenlon added a seventh-place run.
Oconto Falls found major success in the 400, where freshman Alexandria Braund delivered a standout third-place finish in 1:04.85. Annabelle Maciejewski followed with a fifth-place effort, giving the Panthers two top-five finishers in the event.
In distance races, Sydney Braund and Ella Younkle both contributed in the 800 meters, placing seventh and eighth, respectively. Alison Kramer added a top-20 finish in the 1600, while Lily Meissner turned in one of the team’s best distance performances with a runner-up finish in the 3200 meters (13:08.61).
The hurdles brought one of the biggest highlights of the meet, as Mackenzie Lotto captured first place in the 300-meter hurdles with a winning time of 53.59. That victory added to an already strong showing for the Panthers on the track.
Relay teams also played a major role in the team’s success. Oconto Falls placed second in both the 4×100 (52.00) and 4×200 (1:54.44), and added another runner-up finish in the 4×400 relay (4:31.15). The Panthers capped their relay performances with a third-place finish in the 4×800, showcasing depth across all distances.
In the field events, Brooke Fenlon led the way with a first-place finish in the long jump (15-5), while Calli Bursa added a tie for second in the high jump. Melanie Frank delivered a strong third-place finish in the shot put, and Hailee Rugg added a top-10 showing in the discus.

The Shawano Boys Track and Field team took 4th at Luxemburg-Casco on Thursday. On the track, Shawano’s sprint group made an early impact in the 100 meters, where senior Heriberto Rubio placed fifth (11.99) and teammate Aiden Rasmussen followed closely in ninth (12.09). In the 200, senior Bryce Lammers led the Hawks with a strong sixth-place finish in 23.94, while Joseph Kleinschmidt added an eighth-place run (24.33).
The 400 meters saw another solid showing, as Joshua Lesperance paced Shawano with a fifth-place finish (56.78), just ahead of teammate Kian Morstad, who took seventh in 57.03. In the distance events, freshman Kobe Bistoff stood out with a fifth-place finish in the 800 (2:17.17), while Beckett Hendricks added a seventh-place run in the 1600 (5:07.93). Josiah Kuehl delivered one of the team’s top distance performances, earning third in the 3200 meters with a time of 10:52.49.
Shawano’s biggest highlight came in the 4×800 relay, where the team of Bistoff, Nolan Kleinschmidt, Kuehl, and Lesperance claimed first place in 9:10.39, showcasing strong depth and pacing to secure the victory. The 4×100 relay team also impressed, taking second in 46.28.
In the field events, Shawano made its presence known. Joseph Doperalski led the way in the shot put with a runner-up finish (45-5.25), while Drew Chelberg dominated the discus, capturing first place with a throw of 135-11. Chelberg also added points in the shot put, finishing 10th. Chase Katchenago contributed a fourth-place finish in the shot put, giving Shawano multiple scorers in the event.
In the jumps, Ryan Schwitzer delivered another standout moment, winning the pole vault with a clearance of 13 feet. Bryce Lammers added a sixth-place finish in the same event, while Nolan Kleinschmidt cleared 5-4 to place sixth in the high jump.

Both Girls and Boys Track and Field teams from Weyauwega-Fremont took 1st place at Tri-County. On the boys side, The Warhawks were especially strong in relays and field events, sweeping both the 4×100 and 4×200 relays while adding a win in the 4×800. Individually, Marcus Benjamin led the way with a victory in the 1600 meters, while Mason McIvor captured the 300 hurdles. The field events were another major strength, with Ethan Koplien winning high jump and Brody Olsen taking first in the triple jump.
On the girls side, Chamille Birdyshaw led a 1-3 finish in the 100 meters, while Raegan Farkas added a runner-up finish in the hurdles. The Warhawks also claimed the 4×200 relay title and added strong finishes in the 4×100 and 4×400. In the field events, Macy Fee dominated with a win in shot put and added another top finish in discus, while Samantha Bailey won the high jump and contributed in the pole vault.
