Wrightstown 6, Freedom 3
Wrightstown delivered when it mattered most, erupting for six runs in the sixth inning to pull away for a 6-3 comeback win over Freedom on Thursday.
For much of the game, it was Freedom in control. The Irish broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with three runs, powered by home runs from Kourtney Moeller and Breanna Dallmann. That early surge, combined with clean defense, gave Freedom a 3-0 lead heading into the later innings.
But Wrightstown stayed patient at the plate and finally broke through in a big way in the sixth. The Tigers strung together timely hits and took advantage of walks, sending 12 batters to the plate in a decisive six-run frame. Morgan McKewin led the charge with two hits and two RBIs, while Molly Ruebl and Madelyn DeCleene each drove in runs to flip the game completely.
Wrightstown finished with 12 hits on the day, showing depth throughout the lineup. Elaina Verbeten added a pair of hits and scored, while multiple players reached base to keep the pressure on during the decisive rally.
In the circle, Sophia Garcia went the distance, allowing five hits and three runs while working through early trouble.

Shawano 10, New London 4
The Hawks wasted no time taking control, plating three runs in the first inning and erupting for six more in the second to build a commanding 9-1 lead. That early surge proved to be more than enough, as Shawano never let New London get closer than six runs the rest of the way.
Offensively, Shawano Community racked up 12 hits and saw production throughout the lineup. Amiyah O’Kimosh led the charge with a 3-for-4 performance and three RBIs, while Jacey Cowden and Jaelyn Hietpas each added multi-hit efforts. Gracee Johnson also contributed with two RBIs, helping the Hawks capitalize on their early opportunities.
In the circle, Shawano used a two-pitcher combination effectively. Lily Bubolz handled the first three innings before Kadence Meyers took over and shut things down, allowing just one run over the final four frames while striking out five.

Shiocton 15, Manawa 5 – Game 1
Shiocton jumped out early and never let Manawa recover, powering to a 15-5 conference win Thursday behind a fast start and a steady offensive attack.
The Chiefs wasted no time setting the tone, scoring four runs in the opening inning and adding three more in the second to build a commanding 7-0 lead before Manawa could settle in. Even after a quiet third inning, Shiocton continued to pressure the Wolves’ defense, tacking on runs in four straight innings to keep control of the game from start to finish.
Manawa showed resilience in the middle innings, breaking through for four runs in the fourth to briefly spark life into the home crowd. The Wolves added another run in the fifth, but the early deficit proved too large to overcome as Shiocton responded each time to maintain a comfortable cushion.
Manawa 14, Shiocton 8 – Game 2
After dropping the first game of the doubleheader, Manawa responded in a big way, powering past Shiocton 14-8 in a high-scoring conference matchup Thursday to earn the split.
The Wolves set the tone early, scoring in the first inning and adding three more in the second to take early control. Even after Shiocton answered with a six-run fourth inning to briefly swing momentum, Manawa’s offense stayed relentless, responding immediately with another six-run outburst of their own in the bottom half of the inning to regain control.
From there, Manawa kept the pressure on, adding runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings to gradually pull away and seal the win.
Offensively, it was one of the strongest performances of the season for the Wolves, who racked up 17 hits and consistently put runners in scoring position. Olivia Zielke led the charge with a huge day at the plate, going 5-for-6 with multiple extra-base hits and driving in runs throughout the lineup. Alexis Ferg also had a standout performance with four hits and three RBIs, while Andie Pankow added two hits and two RBIs in a key middle-of-the-order role.

Bonduel 6, Iola-Scandinavia 2
Bonduel stayed in control from the early innings and never let up, rolling to a 6-2 win over Iola-Scandinavia in Thursday’s conference matchup.
The Thunderbirds struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the first, but Bonduel answered immediately. The Bears matched it with two runs of their own in the bottom half, then took over from there. A two-run third inning gave Bonduel the lead for good, and they continued to add on with single runs in the fourth and fifth to steadily build separation.
Offensively, Bonduel put together one of its most complete performances of the season, racking up 16 hits as a team. Marlie Hartmann led the charge with a 3-hit day and 2 RBIs, while Haley Conradt added two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Contributions came throughout the lineup, with multiple players recording multi-hit games to keep constant pressure on Iola-Scandinavia’s defense.
In the circle, Emery Thompson delivered a strong complete-game effort. She limited the Thunderbirds to just three hits and two runs while striking out nine.

De Pere 16, Green Bay Southwest 1
Behind an explosive offensive performance and a dominant start, De Pere rolled to a 16-1 conference win over Green Bay Southwest on Thursday, controlling the game from the very first inning.
The Redbirds came out swinging, putting up five runs in the opening frame to immediately seize momentum. After a brief quiet second inning, De Pere broke the game wide open with three more runs in the third and then delivered a crushing eight-run fourth inning to put the game out of reach early.
De Pere’s offense was firing on all cylinders, finishing with 11 hits while drawing six walks and consistently capitalizing on scoring chances. The lineup showed depth throughout, with multiple players contributing multi-hit or multi-RBI efforts in a balanced attack.
Micah Zirbel was a key spark in the middle of the order, driving in three runs while collecting three hits, including extra-base production. Jaelyn Craig also had a standout day, scoring multiple runs and adding three RBIs while helping extend innings with clutch at-bats. Payton Spaeth contributed two RBIs and extra-base power as part of the early offensive surge.
In the circle, Grace Hudson delivered a strong complete-game effort, allowing just one run on five hits while striking out four and keeping Green Bay Southwest off balance throughout the contest.
