SHAWANO, WI- Downtown Shawano is gearing up for a busy and energetic weekend as Derby Day brings a surge of shoppers into the heart of the city. Lindsey Johnson with Shawano Downtown says the event is shaping up to be one of the biggest draws of the season.
Johnson says around 25 local businesses are taking part, many extending their hours and staying open until 5 p.m. on Saturday, giving shoppers even more time to explore, support local, and take in everything downtown has to offer.
