MENOMINEE NATION BASEBALL SPOTLIGHT IS SPONSORED BY BAY BANK

Menominee Nation heads into the 2026 baseball season looking to rebuild and gain momentum after a difficult 2025 campaign that saw the Eagles finish 3-17 overall and near the bottom of the Central Wisconsin–East standings. This year’s group is especially young, with many underclassmen expected to step into key roles, making this a season focused heavily on development and growth.
With several seniors from last year’s roster gone, Menominee Nation will rely on its younger core to gain experience quickly and grow into bigger responsibilities. Developing consistency at the plate will be a major focus after the Eagles struggled to generate runs against tough conference pitching throughout last season.
On the mound, improving control and limiting big innings will be critical as a young pitching staff continues to develop. The Eagles allowed a high number of runs in conference play a year ago, so finding stability on the mound and tightening up defensively will be key to staying competitive.
The Central Wisconsin–East remains one of the tougher conferences in the area, with teams like Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Amherst, and Bonduel leading the way. For Menominee Nation, success this season will be measured in progress, competing deeper into games, cutting down mistakes, and gaining confidence with each outing.
While wins may take time, the Eagles’ youth provides a foundation for the future, and if this group continues to develop, Menominee Nation could take meaningful steps forward as the season unfolds.
