GRESHAM/BOWLER SOFTBALL SPOTLIGHT IS SPONSORED BY KROPF’S MEATS PROCESSING AND ERIC’S SEPTIC SERVICE

After a challenging 2025 campaign, Bowler/Gresham enters the new softball season looking to reset and rebuild within the Central Wisconsin–North Conference. The co-op finished last season 0-11 overall and struggled to find consistency on both sides of the ball, but with a younger core returning, there’s optimism for growth this spring.
Among the key returning players, Rhianna Rosenow will be a player to watch in the infield, bringing valuable experience to the lineup. Audrina Klose also returns and is expected to contribute in the outfield, giving Bowler/Gresham some much-needed stability defensively. With several underclassmen expected to step into larger roles, development and confidence at the plate will be critical areas of focus early in the season.
The Central Wisconsin–North Conference remains competitive, led by programs like Tigerton and Marion, both of which return strong talent and depth. That means Bowler/Gresham will need to take advantage of scoring opportunities and tighten up defensively to stay competitive in conference play.
Head coach Tim Ploeger will likely emphasize fundamentals and incremental improvement as the team looks to build momentum. Turning close games into competitive outings and eventually wins will be a key benchmark for success this season.
While last year’s record doesn’t tell the full story, Bowler/Gresham enters the new season with a chance to grow, develop, and take steps forward as a program.
