Xavier 19, Mayville 2
The Xavier offense exploded early and never let up, powering the Hawks to a dominant 19-2 non-conference victory over Mayville on Saturday.
Xavier wasted no time taking control, erupting for 11 runs in the top of the first inning to put the game out of reach almost immediately. The Hawks added one more in the second, then broke things open further with four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to cap the scoring.
At the plate, Xavier was relentless, finishing with 16 hits as part of a .457 team batting performance. Jennifer Lueck led the charge with a perfect day, going 4-for-4 with four runs scored and an RBI. Abby Ourada also had a huge outing, collecting three hits, three runs, and two RBIs, while Morgan Staszak delivered extra-base damage with two doubles and three RBIs.
Additional contributions came from Elsa Dvoracek, who scored three times and drove in three runs, and Kalia Stammer, who added two hits, three runs, and two RBIs as the Hawks kept pressure on throughout the lineup.
In the circle, Quinn Hervey handled the rest, tossing a complete-game effort over five innings. She allowed just two hits and two runs while striking out five, working around six walks to keep Mayville in check.
Mayville managed to push across its only runs in the bottom of the first inning but struggled to generate offense the rest of the way, finishing with just two hits in the game.

De Pere 14, Bay Port 3 – G1
De Pere wasted no time taking control and never looked back in a commanding 14-3 conference win over Bay Port on Saturday.
The Redbirds erupted for four runs in each of the first two innings, quickly building an 8-3 lead after Bay Port plated three in the bottom of the first. From there, De Pere’s pitching and defense shut the door, holding the Pirates scoreless the rest of the way while continuing to add on with three runs in the third and three more in the fifth.
At the plate, Payton Spaeth led the charge with four runs scored and two hits, while Bella Robinett delivered a big performance that included a home run and three RBIs. Allie Frederiksen also had a standout day, driving in four runs on two hits, and Jaelyn Craig added two hits and three RBIs. Julia Renier was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
Inside the circle, Brooke Destache picked up the win, allowing three runs on six hits over five innings while keeping Bay Port off the scoreboard after the opening frame.
De Pere finished with 13 hits and played a clean defensive game, committing no errors. Bay Port managed six hits but was unable to generate sustained offense after the first inning as the Redbirds pulled away early and cruised to the victory.
