@ Rosholt – BOYS AND GIRLS

The Bonduel Track and Field teams took 1st again at Rosholt a couple weeks later after their win at UW-Stevens Point, hosted by Rosholt.
On the boys side, Bonduel was especially strong in the sprint events behind Mason Ballwahn, who placed second in the 100 meters and second in the 200 meters, while also finishing runner-up in the 400 meters. Griffin Uelmen added to the sprint success with a third-place finish in the 100 and another third in the 400. In the 200, Carter Moesch contributed a fifth-place finish, giving Bonduel multiple athletes near the top of the standings in the short sprints. The Bears also found success in the middle-distance races, where Gage Anderson won the 800 meters and later added a second-place finish in the 1600. Corbin Vandenberg followed with a third-place finish in the 800, while Garrett Anderson placed fourth in the 1600. Distance depth continued with a second-place finish from Joah Dworniczak in the 3200.
Bonduel’s relay teams were a major strength. The 4×400 relay team captured first place, while the 4×800 relay team also claimed a first-place finish. The 4×200 relay added a third-place finish, showing the team’s depth across multiple events. In the field events, Ryan Westrich led the way with a second-place finish in shot put and a meet-winning performance in discus. Andy Blandon also placed sixth in discus, while Amias Saldana Busch and Jack Weier added top-five finishes in the high jump. Bonduel also saw solid performances in the jumps, with Carter Moesch placing eighth in long jump and Liam Rosenthal finishing sixth in the triple jump. On the girls side, Peyton Westrich was a standout performer, winning both the 100 meters and 200 meters while adding a second-place finish in the 400 to complete a dominant day on the track. She also contributed to a third-place finish in the triple jump. Paige Niquette took third in the 100 and helped lead Bonduel to a strong relay showing, while Josie Pawlak added a third-place finish in the 200 and later won the triple jump while also placing second in the long jump. In the distance events, Mariah Wondra had an outstanding meet, placing second in the 800 before winning the 1600 meters. Lillian Burrack added a second-place finish in the 3200, giving Bonduel a strong presence in the longer races. The girls relay teams also delivered, with the 4×800 relay team winning, while the 4×200 team placed second and the 4×400 team finished third.
In the field events, Khloe Kurtz led the throws with a third-place finish in shot put, while Morgan Staszak and Brooklyn Greuel placed fifth and sixth in discus, respectively. Bonduel also added points in the high jump with Casey Wesenberg and Amelia Wilcox both finishing in the top eight.

The Iola-Scandinavia Boys Track and Field team took 5th at a loaded invite at St. Norbert College on Friday. Ben Beck won the 1600 meters, while Jensen Rice swept the hurdles with victories in the 110 and 300. Henry Vater added another title in the 2000-meter steeplechase, and Evan Linjer placed 5th in the same event. The 4×400 relay team finished 4th, and the 4×800 relay took 10th. In field events, Aiden Bowen placed 10th in both the long jump and triple jump, while Jensen Rice added an 8th-place finish in the high jump.

@ Green Bay Preble – BOYS ANS GIRLS

The Bay Port Pirates Track and Field teams both took 3rd at Green Bay Preble on Friday. On the boys side, Carson Bleser led the way with a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking 14.98, and added another solid showing in the 300 hurdles. The Pirates were especially strong in the relays, finishing second in the 4×100 (43.89) and 4×400 (3:34.69), while adding a third-place finish in the 4×200. In distance events, Bennett Daul paced Bay Port with a seventh-place finish in the 1600 meters, and the 4×800 relay team added a fifth-place result. The field events were another area of strength, as Jace Fontaine and Aiden Dirksen placed second and third in the shot put, while Sam Aiello took second in the discus with a throw of 142-8. Freshman Ramon Houston also stood out, finishing fifth in the high jump and seventh in the long jump, while Grant Jacques added a fourth-place finish in the triple jump to round out a strong overall showing.
On the girls side, Bay Port turned in an equally impressive performance, highlighted by a victory in the 4×100 relay as Trista Harju, London LaBlonde, Mariana Nieto, and Hailey Schroeder crossed the line first in 49.44. The Pirates continued to shine in relays with third-place finishes in both the 4×200 and 4×400. Individually, Payten Winkler led the distance group with a seventh-place finish in the 1600 meters, while Adyson Riel placed fourth in the 100 hurdles and Naina Munagala added a sixth-place finish in the same event. In the 300 hurdles, Brooke Dorner led the team with a ninth-place finish. Bay Port also saw strong performances in the field, including a runner-up finish from Maya Myers in the pole vault at 11 feet, while Lauren Daul took fifth in the shot put and Marie Walker added a fifth-place finish in the discus. The Pirates were particularly competitive in the jumping events, where Meghan Bruss placed fourth in the long jump and second in the triple jump, Ellie Colassacco took third in the triple jump, and several athletes earned top-10 finishes.
