Iola-Scandinavia dominated from the start Monday, rolling to a 16-0 conference win over Weyauwega-Fremont in a game shortened after three innings. The Thunderbirds exploded for 10 runs in the first inning and never looked back, adding three runs in both the second and third to seal the victory. Iola-Scandinavia’s offense was relentless, piling up 15 hits, with Braelyn Jueds driving in three runs while Katie Rosenthal, Ava Printz, and Maya Munoz all had multi-hit performances. In the circle, Rayanne Clendenning was nearly untouchable, tossing three no-hit innings while striking out four. Weyauwega-Fremont was held without a hit in the game

Denmark 7, Wrightstown 0

Denmark put together a complete performance Monday, shutting out Wrightstown 7-0 in conference play. The Vikings jumped ahead early with three runs in the first inning, then added to their lead with a two-run third and two more in the fifth to stay in control throughout. Maggie Frank led the way offensively with a huge day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs, while Hazel Fields chipped in two hits and two runs scored. In the circle, Denmark combined for a dominant effort, as Brynn DeLarwelle and Shaelyn Kraschnewski teamed up for a five-hit shutout while striking out seven. Wrightstown managed five hits in the game, with Layla Beyer and Sophia Garcia each collecting two, but couldn’t find a way to push a run across.
