Shawano Police responded to a wide variety of calls throughout the day on March 30th, ranging from welfare checks to theft, disturbances, and traffic-related complaints.
Officers were called out just before 1 a.m. for a welfare check involving a mobile phone ping in the Shawano area. A short time later, police assisted with a vehicle repossession on Presbyterian Street.
During the morning hours, officers handled multiple quality-of-life complaints, including a barking dog on South Sawyer Street and ongoing noise concerns near Sturgeon Park. Police also assisted with a funeral escort from St. James Church to Lake Drive Cemetery late in the morning.
Late morning and early afternoon brought more serious incidents, including a warrant arrest near East Maurer and South Evergreen Streets, and a reported theft at Charlie’s County Market on South Main Street. Officers also responded to an open 911 line at a hotel on North Airport Drive, where breathing could be heard in the background.
In the afternoon, police investigated reports of an ATV speeding through Memorial Park, a disturbance on West Third Street, and a drug-related complaint near East Center and South Union Streets, where a caller reported being approached and offered cocaine.
Evening hours included a reckless driving complaint near East Randall and South Lincoln Streets, along with multiple calls for assistance, including a domestic-related situation and a person reported lost and concerned about approaching storms.
The day wrapped up just after midnight with a suspicious report near Center and Lincoln, where a caller reported hearing someone yelling for help.
Clintonville Police stayed busy throughout the day on March 30th, responding to a variety of calls across the city.
The morning began with extra patrols on 9th Street and Anne Street, where officers later returned to investigate a reported theft just after 8 a.m. Police also conducted a school extra patrol near West Green Tree Road as part of routine safety efforts.
Around midday, officers handled a lost and found report on 6th Street, followed by a suspicious activity call on West Morning Glory Drive early in the afternoon. Traffic-related incidents kept officers on the move, including a crash or complaint at Highway 45 and Bear Creek Road.
Later in the day, police conducted a welfare check on Wilson Street and responded to a mental health-related call on Industrial Avenue.
Evening hours included multiple traffic stops at key intersections, along with a reported traffic hazard near Industrial Avenue and Spring Street just before 11 p.m.

Just before 1 a.m., deputies responded to back-to-back welfare checks, including one involving a medical alert activation for an elderly man with a cardiac history in the Bowler area. Additional welfare checks were conducted later in the afternoon on River Road.
Early morning hours brought reports of animals in the roadway near Highways 55 and 156 in Pulaski, where several horses were spotted loose. Not long after, deputies responded to reckless driving complaints, including a vehicle weaving between lanes on Highway 22 near River Bank Road.
That same area was the scene of a concerning pedestrian complaint, where a driver reported a man throwing objects at her vehicle as she passed.
Other incidents included a found iPhone turned in near Pella Opening Road, vandalism at a county park shelter, and a theft reported in Mattoon.
The afternoon and evening hours saw multiple traffic-related complaints, including several reports of reckless driving across the county, a two-vehicle crash with no injuries on Potch Ha Chee Road, and a traffic hazard on Highway 29 involving a swerving SUV.
Deputies also responded to a disturbance at an apartment on Old Keshena Road, and a report of a garage break-in on Pine Ridge Road, although nothing was reported missing.
