Black Creek Ambulance Service to Continue Amid Contract Dispute

BLACK CREEK, WI- The Black Creek Rural Fire & Rescue Service says ambulance service to the Village of Black Creek will continue for now despite ongoing contract disputes with village leaders. In a statement, The Service Director said negotiations have been underway since October but have failed to produce a long-term agreement for EMS coverage. Officials say discussions stalled after December, with communication declining and concerns growing that emergency services were not being prioritized. As a result, the department approved a notice of termination for its ambulance contract with the village, citing a lack of progress.
