Hawks Escape Dog House with Huge Bay Conference Win, Panthers Roll Over Cougars

The Xavier Hawks escaped with a thrilling 73–72 road win over the New London Bulldogs on Thursday night in a back-and-forth varsity matchup.
New London led 45–40 at halftime and still held a slim edge late into the second half, but Xavier closed on a 33–27 run after the break to steal the one-point victory. The game marked the first recorded Bound matchup between the two programs.
Logan Ramczyk powered the Hawks with 25 points, knocking down four threes, while Kyler Bleck added 22 points and eight assists without a turnover to control the offense. Caden Schuler chipped in 10 points, and Xavier finished the night shooting 49% from the field and 42% from beyond the arc.
Xavier’s efficiency and ball security, just five turnovers, proved to be the difference in a tight contest that came down to the final possession at New London.
Oconto Falls 93, Coleman 32
The Oconto Falls Panthers rolled to a dominant 93–32 win over the Coleman Cougars on Thursday night in a one-sided varsity matchup.
Oconto Falls set the tone early, exploding for a 54–13 halftime lead and never letting up. The Panthers added 39 more points in the second half to cap off their highest-scoring output in recent games.
Jameson Beaman led the charge with 27 points, draining seven three-pointers as part of a hot shooting night for the Panthers. JJ Pytleski added 17 points with three triples, while Teagan Tate contributed 11 points, six rebounds, and five steals in an all-around performance.
Oconto Falls shot over 50% from the field and 45% from deep, finishing with 18 assists and 21 steals as a team.
