Foxes Run Past Panthers in Saturday Non-Conference Play

Fox Valley Lutheran used a balanced attack and active defense to pull away for a 56-31 win over Oconto Falls on Saturday afternoon in Appleton.
The Foxes (17-3) controlled the game on both ends, forcing turnovers and turning them into offense while building separation as the game went on. Fox Valley Lutheran finished with 17 steals and 14 assists, showing their depth and unselfish play.
Brianna Dahlke and Grace Meier led the scoring with nine points each, while Paige Healy added eight, including a pair of three-pointers. Meier also made her presence felt on the glass with seven rebounds, three steals, and a block. Olivia Johnson helped run the offense with six assists.
Oconto Falls (7-13) battled but struggled to find consistent offense against the Foxes’ pressure. Fox Valley Lutheran finished 22-of-58 from the field and knocked down six threes in the win.
The victory continues a strong stretch for the Foxes, who have now won seven straight games.
