SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano Community High School Theatre Group is preparing to bring a familiar and delightfully eccentric family to the stage later this week.
Students will present The Addams Family – School Edition with performances scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, along with an additional show Sunday afternoon at the Shawano Community High School Theatre.
The musical centers on Wednesday Addams as she falls in love, forcing her famously unconventional family to confront change, growing up, and the possibility of a new chapter, all delivered with the classic Addams Family humor.
Organizers say the production is filled with laughs, though some material falls into a PG-13 category. Audience members are encouraged to leave their serious side at home and enjoy the antics as they unfold.
