HORTONVILLE, WI – A Hortonville man was arrested early this morning on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, sixth offense.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, Andrew James Herman, 41, was stopped at approximately 3:55 a.m. on Prospect Avenue near Fox Crossing in Winnebago County. Troopers conducted the traffic stop after observing the vehicle speeding and drifting from its lane.
A press release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation states the trooper observed signs of impairment and noticed open alcoholic beverages inside Herman’s truck.
Herman was arrested following standardized field sobriety testing. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
