Waupaca County Youth Must Enroll in 4-H by Feb. 1 to Participate in County Fair

WAUPACA, WI- Waupaca County youth interested in joining 4-H and participating in the county fair this summer must enroll by February 1st. While members can join 4-H at any time during the year, that deadline is required to take part in Junior Fair activities as a 4-H member.
Extension officials say there are 17 4-H clubs in Waupaca County for youth in grades 5K through high school. Enrollment is now done online, and families can find information through the UW-Extension Waupaca County website. Organizers say 4-H offers hands-on learning in everything from animals and woodworking to photography, science, and leadership skills.
