SHAWANO, WI – As 2026 gets underway, SAYPRO of Shawano is preparing for a busy year with new programming and expanded community involvement.
Executive Director Sam Sperberg says the organization’s Breakfast Club remains a key opportunity for members to spotlight their work. “We’re inviting members to come join us on the Breakfast Club and talk about their organization or their business that’s going on,” Sperberg said. The first featured group of the year will be First Legacy Realty, scheduled to appear on Monday, February 23.
In addition to business networking, SAYPRO is also strengthening its community outreach through a new partnership with SAM25, the Shawano Area Matthew 25 food pantry and resource center.
Board member Vaughn Bohm says the partnership offers a hands-on way for members to give back. “If you’re a member, you can sign up to deliver a meal to SAM25 and SAYPRO will cover the cost of all the food. So you can go there and serve it or if you want to drop it off,” Bohm explained.
Leaders say the initiative gives members more chances to volunteer while building relationships across the community. The effort reflects SAYPRO’s continued focus on professional growth, collaboration, and local service in the year ahead.
