CLINTONVILLE, WI – The Clintonville EAA Chapter 1710 has announced plans to host three Young Eagles rallies later this year once flying conditions improve. Chapter member Mathieu Labs says all three events will take place in Clintonville, with rallies scheduled for May 9, June 6, and September 12.
The Young Eagles program is open to kids ages 8 to 17, offering participants a free introductory airplane ride with an experienced pilot. After completing their flight, youth also receive a Young Eagles certificate and access to online flight training, giving them a hands-on introduction to aviation.
Labs says the rallies are designed to be welcoming and accessible for families throughout the area, regardless of prior aviation experience. He adds that participants do not need to be members of the Experimental Aircraft Association to take part.
All Young Eagles rallies require advanced registration, with sign-ups opening approximately one month prior to each event. Dates, registration details, and updates will be shared on the Clintonville EAA Chapter 1710 Facebook page.
