SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano Parks and Recreation Department says park shelter rentals are now officially open to the public for the year. Parks and Recreation Director Matt Hendricks confirmed that as of January 1, all park shelter facilities are available for reservation, giving residents the opportunity to plan events well in advance.
Hendricks says the shelters have already proven popular, hosting a wide range of gatherings including graduation parties and even a wedding. With interest in the facilities continuing to grow, city staff say early planning is becoming increasingly important for those hoping to secure a desired date.
Residents interested in reserving a park shelter are encouraged to begin the process as soon as possible. Reservations can be completed entirely online through the Rec Desk system, or by contacting Shawano Parks and Recreation directly for assistance.
