WAUPACA, WI- The application window to fill the Waupaca County Circuit Court, Branch 3 vacancy has officially closed, and a gubernatorial appointment is now expected soon.
The seat was left vacant following the passing of longtime Judge Raymond S. Huber, who served the county for more than 25 years. Gov. Tony Evers previously announced the search for applicants and noted Judge Huber’s legacy of fairness, compassion, and dedicated public service.
The individual selected will serve the remainder of the current term, which runs through July 31, 2027. With the Jan. 5, 2026, deadline now passed, the governor’s office will review submissions and move forward with choosing the next circuit court judge for Branch 3.
