CLINTONVILLE, WI – While snow may have paused play on the fairways, Riverside Golf Course in Clintonville is staying busy this winter with a full lineup of entertainment, community events, and indoor activities. Amie Jorgenson says the off-season has become an opportunity to show residents that Riverside offers far more than golf.
“We have live music every Thursday from 5:30 to 8,” Jorgenson said. “Saturdays we try to fill our schedule with events, whether it’s bingo, a hypnotist coming, or a chunky blanket class on January 3rd.”
The clubhouse remains open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, giving the community a warm, welcoming place to gather throughout the winter.
For golfers missing the game, Jorgenson says an indoor simulator is on the way. “We’re getting a simulator in this winter,” she said. “We’re expecting it in January, but we’re not exactly sure of the exact date yet.”
She adds that the expanding slate of winter programming is helping Riverside become a true year-round destination for both golfers and non-golfers alike.
